Legacy Farm is an event space residing on 113 acres of the old Canadian Pacific Railway Demonstration and Supply Farm that operated from 1908 to 1944. The land has been family held since 1946 and has an approved Area Structure Plan for further development.

Legacy Barn
Legacy Barn is a beautifully restored granary measuring 110 feet long by 40 feet wide on the exterior. The barn and grass enclosure hosts weddings, meetings, community events, trade shows, and craft fairs. Heating was added to the barn in 2025 making it available for year round use, and on-site accessible bathrooms are located within steps of the barn.
Approved area structure plan
There is an approved Area Structure Plan (ASP) that exists for the 113 acres of which Legacy Barn is a part of. The ASP envisions the creation of an agri-tourism destination that would serve as a hub for southern Alberta and beyond. Please contact info@legacyfarmatstrathmore.com for more information.
